Responsive Web Site - Adirondack ExplorerEntire site redesign of Adirondack Explorer  Magazine based in Saranac Lake NY. The site was redesigned using responsive web design to allow the increasing mobile veiwership to better engage with the site. The site now also includes a streamlined Ecommerce solution to allow for easier mobile purchases as well as regular pc based purchases.

The new site has combined many different blogs and sites into one dynamic site to offer them a single content management system (CMS) to manage their website with as well as to take and process orders. The new site also offers news on the home page that is pulled from other sections of the explorer as well as other news sources to allow for a constant changing home page and allow the viewer to have the most up to date information on what interests them most.

    • I would suggest using WordPress as this is one of the most used bloging and CMS platforms on the web today. WordPress powers roughly 22% of the websites and Close to half of the top 100 blogs are using WordPress as their publishing system. That’s according to research published by the folks at Royal Pingdom.

      Hope that helps.
